Give Back

If you subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social media, you know Kathy and I attended the Unleash the Love breakfast hosted by Gabriel’s Angels on May 1, 2019, at the Doubletree Inn by Hilton. The gathering was mostly social with conversations at each table and throughout the room. Nestled near great humans were dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds – each sporting a beautiful purple vest like the one pictured above. Those dogs and their owners were the highlights of the event, but their team missions left a pawprint on our hearts.

The unforgettable experience depicted how these four-legged friends and their owners work together to provide pet therapy to abused, neglected, and at-risk children right here in Arizona.

From the Unleash the Love information:

Gabriel’s Angels serves almost 15,200 at-risk children in Arizona through the application of innovative Pet Therapy. The program’s goal is to increase the overall sense of well-being and happiness for children in a safe environment, and to build critical core behaviors, such as empathy, respect and tolerance. This includes our traditional group visits, seeing 10-12 children weekly or every other week; individual intervention, working one-on-one in a clinical setting; and our Animals, Books and Children (ABC) program, which provides not only literacy support to select 1st-3rd graders at Title I schools, but also helps them to build core behaviors such as confidence and affiliation.

Gabriel’s Angels long-term goal is to continue to be the premier provider of innovative children’s Pet Therapy programs throughout Arizona.

It was in attending this event when Kathy and I first discussed The Right Touch Massage Therapy giving back, too.

Give More

The Right Touch Massage Therapy is giving more.

Through August 31, 2019, a portion of all regularly priced treatments will be donated to Gabriel’s Angels. In addition to the contributions generated through massage treatments, The Right Touch Massage Therapy will match the first $250 in cash donations made in the office.

You can’t win together if you don’t work together.
